The show, about a talented teen named Kacey Simon (Cymphonnique) who goes from mean girl to social outcast after getting a make “under,” will feature plenty of catchy tunes. The first of which is the rocking “Only You Can Be You!” (Which also doubles as the theme song).

After getting rejected by her regular clique, she joins a band called Gravity 5, and they make some seriously rocking music together!

The cast will be screening episodes in Chicago, Minneapolis, LA, and NYC the week of February 13, and gave viewers the choice to vote for what city they wanted the fifth one to be. Dying to know what other city they will be heading to? Don’t worry because Celebuzz has the exclusive reveal!

Celebuzz got a chance to catch up with one of the show’s newest cast members, Alex Steele, (who actually played Joey Jeremiah’s daughter and Craig’s step-sister on earlier seasons) about her new character and what kind of drama we can expect from this season.

Tell me about your new character.
My brand new character is very dramatic, she always strives to get what she wants and she’ll do anything to get what she wants. She’s very straight forward. A little over-dramatic at times.

What kind of antics does she get herself into this season?
Fights. She’s in a couple triangles. One with friendship and one with romance.

Do you get along with the cast pretty well?
Oh yeah, everyone is so nice and friendly. It’s like a family away from home.

What’s the vibe like on the set? Are there any on-set pranks or anything like that?
There have been quite a few. I don’t know if they are pranks, but I can’t stop laughing. Cast members and crew are just so funny. I remember this one time I was filming with Ricardo and Lyle. I don’t know why, but I phrased my line in sort of a strange way. I wasn’t gonna laugh, but I looked at Lyle and his face made me laugh. It was so embarressing but so funny.

What ways are you similar to your character?
Well we both like shopping. I think we are bothy very driven to get what we want, though we go about it in different ways.

How are you different from her?
She is incredibly over-dramatic about so many things. I more kind of just sit back and go with the flow and see where it takes you. She is more like “I am going to carve a path.”

Pregnant & Barefaced Jennifer Garner Gives Daughter Seraphina a Lift (PHOTOS)

 

Can we officially call Jennifer Garner a supermom? 

Despite sporting quite a large baby bump on her belly, the third time mommy-to-be was seen carrying daughter Seraphina around in Hollywood on Friday. Although Jen have yet to reveal the sex of the unborn child, she recently told Jay Leno on his talk show that her family is already picking out names.

“Our girls are working on names. At first they were definitely Disney. It was like, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse Affleck,” Jennifer said. “And then they’ve moved on. Then it was Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Smee.”

Furthermore, she spilled that she’s unsure if husband Ben Affleck would be so thrilled with a baby boy (if they are having one, that is).

“I would have thought [he wanted a boy]. At first I think I really thought so,” Garner said. “And then he kind of said, ‘Well, we have girls. We know how to do girls. My girls love me. I’m the big guy in the house.’ So, now I’m not sure.”

Exclusive: ‘Victorious’ Cast Talks ‘Breakfast Club’ Homage and Spill Detention Stories

Few things are better than wrapping up the holidays by sitting in front of your fireplace to watch a classic 80s movie like The Breakfast Club. Whether you’re a grandchild or a grandparent, we can bet you’ve seen this classic movie at least once in your life — and because it holds a special place in all of our hearts, one of our favorite television shows is set to pay an homage to the timeless film!

That’s right! Victoria Justice, Avan Jogia, Ariana Grande, and the rest of the Victorious cast is set to recreate their own special version of the 1985 John Hughes teen drama. The episode is titled “The Breakfast Bunch” and is set to air INSERT DATE AND TIME on Nickelodeon. Celebuzz was on the Victorious set while the cast shot the much anticipated episode, and we were able to get some scoop on what we can expect from it, who their special guest star is, and how many of them actually got detention growing up!

The young cast was all smiles while shooting “The Breakfast Bunch”. Some of them were even dressed in outfits very reminiscent of the original Breakfast Club characters. Leon Thomas III, who plays the talented Andre on the hit TV series and was dressed very much like Emilio Estevez‘s character Andrew, gave us a little synopsis about the upcoming episode, saying,

We’re playing characters that are pretty similar to the characters in the movie. We all get detention because we come back late from lunch. We have Rob Riggle (Saturday Night Live, The Hangover) playing Vice Principal Dickers, so it’s going to be good.

It sounds like a fun episode! Riggle was apparently the perfect casting choice to play VP Dickers as the whole cast seemed to get along very well with the actor. Avan Jogia, who was similarly dressed as Judd Nelson‘s character Bender, said of Riggle, “It’s been great having him here. He’s amazing and you learn a lot from him.”

“You had to hold back laughter for [Rob],” Thomas added. “In between scenes, we would just hang out and talk and he’s great.”

Thomas also revealed that while some of the cast members had not seen The Breakfast Club before learning of this special homage, they all got together before shooting for the episode began to watch the classic film and find the similarities between the two.

We also got some scoop on the cast’s real life detention stories. While all the guys had a couple of detention stories to share, the one that surprised us the most was that of red-head Ariana Grande, who explained, ” I got detention once because I was eating in class. It wasn’t my fault, though. I’m hypoglycemic and I needed to eat and my teacher didn’t believe me. When I went to detention, my mom came in and took me out of it and explained it to them.”

Meanwhile, Victoria Justice shared that she was actually a good girl in school. “I never got in trouble for anything,” she shared.

Zac Efron & Nicole Kidman's "Paperboy" Re-Shoot Weekend

Spending the weekend hard at work on their upcoming motion picture, Zac Efron and Nicole Kidman were both spotted leaving the set of "The Paperboy" in Los Angeles this afternoon (January 28).

The former "High School Musical" hunk showed off his chiseled biceps in a black tank top as he joked with friends upon closing out the day of re-shoots, with the "Australia" actress passing by on-hand paparazzi a short while later.

Also starring Matthew McConaughey, John Cusack, the upcoming thriller finds "a reporter who returns to his Florida hometown to investigate a case involving a death row inmate."

Directed by Lee Daniels, "The Paperboy" is set to make its way into theaters in 2012.

Making her first US appearance since her break up with husband Russell Brand, Katy Perry hit the 1 OAK nightclub to host Friday night’s GiveLove charity event in Las Vegas. Dressed in a figure-hugging LBD, the “Teenage Dream” singer was all smiles as she held on tight to jewelry designer and co-host Markus Molinari as they posed on the red carpet.

So who was this mysterious male companion?

Before you make any speculations about Perry and Molinari being an item, he was kind enough to assure reporters at the event that they are merely friends. Markus told People that Katy was kind enough to help out his GiveLove cause because “that’s what friends do.” He also added that Katy has been doing “amazing.”

From what we saw at Perry’s concerts in Indonesia, we’d say Markus is dead on! Katy showed off her flirty side when she planted a couple of wet ones on shirtless male fans at her shows. Check out a video of Perry’s smooches below!

She's been a regular at the countless red carpet celebrations this year, and Amber Heard hit up another soiree by arriving at the 64th Annual Directors Guild Of America Awards in Hollywood, California on Saturday evening (January 28).

“When I’m tired, I make Eric rub me,” Jessica said. “Eric is very, very supportive. We’re both extremely excited.”

Jessica recently took fiance (and baby belly, of course!) to a family dinner with sister Ashlee Simpson. Even though the mommy-to-be has said that she was expecting a spring baby, it looks to us like Jessica’s well into her last trimester.

As she continues along with her European travels, Bar Refaeli took time to make a television appearance in Milan, Italy on Saturday (January 28).

The Israeli supermodel looked glamorous in a thigh-baring frock as she joined host Piero Chiambretti to pre-record an episode of the Italian TV show "Chiambretti Sunday Night" - during which she was entertained by some sultry female dancers.

Although there’s still no word if Taylor is actually dating Sara again, it’s nice to see these two exes getting along so swimmingly!

Taylor and Sara were once high school sweethearts before he hit it big as Jacob in the Twilight saga. Since then, Sara has become a cheerleader for the LA Clippers, while Taylor has starred in multiple hit movies and has been linked to starlets like Taylor Swift and Abduction co-star Lily Collins.

After having skipped out on the red carpet arrivals, Michelle Williams took the stage as promised at the 64th Annual Directors Guild Of America Awards in Hollywood, California on Saturday evening (January 28).

Making another stop on the awards show circuit, George Clooney was on-hand for the 64th Annual Directors Guild Of America Awards in Hollywood, California on Saturday evening (January 28).

The "Descendants" dreamboat joined alongside co-star Shailene Woodley as the pair chummed it up at the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland while joining up alongside the world's most accomplished filmmakers for the swanky ceremony.

As for the reason behind George's appearance, the 50-year-old happens to be among the stars selected to pass out a trophy while joining fellow presenters such as Michelle Williams, Octavia Spencer and "The Artist" duo Berenice Bejo and Jean Dujardin.

With Clooney and Woodley's "The Descendants" director Alexander Payne also in the running for Best Feature Film honors, Directors Guild of America President Taylor Hackford said, "The directors nominated this year for the Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film Award have each demonstrated an inspired command of the medium. The fact that their prodigious talents have been recognized by their peers is the highest honor a director can achieve."

Ready for a fabulous night saluting Hollywood's finest movie-makers, Jennifer Aniston turned up for the 64th Annual Directors Guild Of America Awards in Hollywood, California on Saturday evening (January 28).

he "Marley & Me" beauty looked breathtaking in a Dolce&Gabbana LBD as she and boyfriend Justin Theroux worked the arrivals area at the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland before grabbing up their primo seat ahead of the swanky ceremony.

As for the reason behind the appearance, Miss Aniston is among the esteemed nominees this year - as she, Demi Moore, Penelope Spheeris, Alicia Keys and Patty Jenkins are in the running for Movies for Television and Mini-Series for their collaborative effort on Lifetime's "Five".

Talking about the elite competition, Directors Guild of America President Taylor Hackford said, "The caliber of work being done on television these days is incredible, and our director nominees in each category are an indispensable element to the success of every project -- establishing and enhancing the vision and tone, eliciting outstanding performances and furthering the narrative arc through their creative choices."

‘The Artist’ Stars Jean Dujardin & Berenice Bejo Talk Awards Season (VIDEOS)

Celebs flocked to the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Awards in Los Angeles last night and Celebuzz had a chance to catch up with two of this awards season’s brightest stars. Film critics have been singing praises for Jean Dujardin and Berenice Bejo‘s performances in The Artist (which is up for a lot of Oscars, by the way) and the two co-stars have been making their way around the red carpet circuit.

Bejo, who’s currently nominated for Best Supporting Actress, dished to us on just how she broke the news to her mother. 

The French actress was actually quite nonchalant in her delivery. She told us she left a message on her mother’s phone, saying:

Hey mom, it’s Berenice. Just letting you know I got nominated for an Oscar. Call me back!

But as for her co-star Dujardin, he was overwhelmed by awards season in general — especially the prospect of rubbing elbows with Brad Pitt!

Vanessa Hudgens Premieres "Journey 2" in Mexico City!

After holding a press conference and photocall the previous day, Vanessa Hudgens was back in promotional mode for the "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" premiere in Mexico City, Mexico on Saturday (January 28).

The 23-year-old brunette beauty joined alongside co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Dwayne Johnson while warmly greeting their south of the border fans lining the venue before heading inside the Cinemark Reforma 222 theater to screen their action/adventure film.

Directed by Brad Peyton, the upcoming film sees "Sean Anderson partner with his mom's boyfriend on a mission to find his grandfather, who is thought to be missing on a mythical island."

Also starring Luis Guzman, Michael Caine and Kristin Davis. "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" swings into Stateside theaters on Friday, February 10th!

The supermodel recently revealed that she is splitting with husband Seal. The news came to the a shock to the world as the couple have always been by on another’s side — even making a deal to renew their vows every year.

Heidi’s soon-to-be ex-husband opened up to Ellen DeGeneres about their marriage. He said:

“Just because we have decided to separate doesn’t necessarily mean you take off your ring and you’re no longer connected to that person. … We will be connected in many ways until the rest of our lives … though our children and also through this tremendous admiration, respect and love that we have for each other.”

It looks to us like Heidi is putting family first as she makes time to take her kids to their karate lesson.

Berenice Bejo & Jean Dujardin's Night at the DGA Awards

Their film has swept the awards season thus far, and "The Artist" co-stars Berenice Bejo and Jean Dujardin were both on-hand for the 64th Annual Directors Guild Of America Awards in Hollywood, California on Saturday evening (January 28).

The 35-year-old Argentine-French actress worked the arrivals area alongside her director Michel Hazanavicius at the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland while Mr Dujardin suited up for his solo turn on the red carpet.

As for the reason behind their appearances, Miss Bejo and Mr Dujardin are both among the stars selected to pass out a trophy while joining fellow presenters such as George Clooney, Octavia Spencer, Laura Dern, Deborah Ann Woll and Stana Katic.

Meanwhile, Mr Hazanavicius is in the running for Best Feature Film honors while facing a field of contenders including Woody Allen (Midnight in Paris), David Fincher (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo), Alexander Payne (The Descendants) and Martin Scorsese (Hugo).

 

James Franco As Hugh Hefner! See Other Celebs Portraying Real-Life Characters (PHOTOS)

 

Is James Franco pulling of the Playboy look? The actor is portraying bachelor icon Hugh Hefner in the upcoming film Lovelace, and we think he definitely has the hair down.

Lovelace is based on the Deep Throat porn star Linda Lovelace, a role that is being played by Big Love actress Amanda Seyfried. 

This film has had a bit of drama surrounding the casting. Demi Moore backed out of her cameo after it was reported she was admitting herself into a treatment facility. In other Lovelace casting news, Amanda’s Big Love costar Chloe Sevigny will also be joining the cast.

The film, according to IMDB, is about Lovelace, who is used and abused by the porn industry at the behest of her coercive husband, before taking control of her life.

Laws of the bungle

Just because people get paid at work doesn’t mean they always behave like professionals. Few people are on their best behavior 24/7, and even the most upstanding employees have their moments — so chances are that sooner or later you’re going to screw up royally at the office.

But instead of jumping out a window when you get caught bad-mouthing a co-worker or you whiff like Curtis Granderson during your PowerPoint presentation, there are ways to get yourself through a bad situation without suffering too much damage.

In fact, some awkward moments may be golden opportunities in disguise.

To get the lowdown on crawling out from under a rock at work — and if possible, doing a judo-flip to turn it to your advantage — we polled a panel of career gurus and etiquette experts on how to handle six difficult hypothetical scenarios, ranging from an e-mail blunder to a pervy boss.

The key to everything is to man up.

“Take responsibility, you idiot! People will forgive you if you do,” says Peter Post, director of the Emily Post Institute and author of “The Etiquette Advantage in Business.” “When people don’t take responsibility, that’s when they get into trouble.”

With that in mind, here’s how Post and our other experts would confront these workplace nightmares. You might want to keep their advice on hand for reference — ideally you won’t need it, but you never know.

THE PROBLEM

You’re in the break room chatting about the NFL playoffs when you’re suddenly reminded that Joe in the corner office has a salacious secret. Joe’s not around, so time to share! Once you’ve finished, you turn to see Joe glaring at you.

What to do

Post: You’ve got to recognize that you’ve just stepped over the line and apologize to that person immediately. Let them know that you know what you had to say was unacceptable and ask them for their forgiveness.

Lindsey Pollak, author of “Getting From College to Career”: In high school, they used to call that “pulling a Lindsey.” So I’m quite familiar with this scenario. In that case you go immediately to the person and say, “You know what? I was gossiping. That was really wrong. I’m sorry. It won’t happen again.”

Can it be turned to your advantage?

Post: That involves two things — how you try to rebuild the relationship with that individual and how you approach the whole issue of gossip in the workplace — your recognition that it causes problems and you’re not willing to participate in it any further.

Pollak: You use it as a lesson and stop gossiping.

 

Upper hand

It’s late afternoon at work and you’re drooping. You need a caffeine fix, but coffee gives you heartburn — or maybe the office machine is busted and you don’t feel like running out.

Enter the AeroShot, a “breathable energy product” that aims to make huffing stimulants a natural part of the workday routine rather than a cause for alerting security.

Shaped like an oversized lipstick tube, the disposable canisters deliver four to six puffs of a fine, lime-flavored powder containing caffeine and B vitamins. Empty it and you’ll be getting 100 milligrams of caffeine, the equivalent of a large cup of coffee.

It was created by professor of biomedical engineering at Harvard, David Edwards, whose previous creations include inhalable insulin, coffee and chocolate. Launched last fall in Paris, where Edwards runs an experimental laboratory, the AeroShot is now being sold in New York and Boston, with a national roll-out to follow. No word yet on how it goes with donuts.

What does a hypnotherapist do all day?

Hypnotherapists use hypnosis to help clients conquer problems such as smoking, overeating, sleep disorders and phobias. Some hypnotherapists work as part of a group practice or in the office of another health professional, such as a chiropractor, while many have their own practice.

What kind of cash are we talking about here?

While the national average hourly wage for a hypnotherapist is $85 per hour, this rate is usually higher in the New York City area — about $125 to $150 per hour, according to the American Association of Professional Hypnotherapists (AAPH). Keep in mind that there is overhead, such as rent, utilities and advertising.

What do you have to do to get this job?

While some hypnotherapists are trained mental health counselors who offer hypnotherapy as part of their treatment modalities, it is a field with little in the way of licensing or education requirements. The AAPH and the National Guild of Hypnotists maintain lists of training courses, which can range from a few days to several months. The AAPH recommends an in-person training course of about 100 hours. You’ll either have to build up your practice on your own or join a group practice to start out.

OK, tell me the bad part.

It can take some time to build up a client base and make a living as a hypnotherapist, so this career is best pursued while you have another source of income. Some people still view hypnotherapy as a questionable science, so you may encounter the “you do what?” reaction when explaining your job.

What’s the upside?

Established hypnotherapists get to set their own hours and earn a decent income, and the work is interesting and varied. It’s a great field for those who enjoy helping others and are intrigued by the workings of the human mind.

A menu that’s broad

Name: Joe Bastianich

Job: Food and wine entrepreneur

The 43-year-old has amassed an empire of more than two dozen restaurants (including Del Posto, Otto and Babbo), three Italian wineries and the hugely popular Italian food emporium Eataly.

As Mario Batali’s partner and Lidia Bastianich’s son/partner, the restaurateur’s been in the limelight since fleeing a job as a Wall Street trader to open Becco two decades ago. Now, starring as a judge alongside Gordon Ramsay on Fox’s “MasterChef,” an “American Idol”-style food competition, Bastianich is becoming an even more familiar face to audiences here and in Italy (where a popular Italian version of the show airs, and where Bastianich, whose family has Italian roots, maintains a home).

MAN OF LA MANGIA: Between global jaunts, Bastianich touches down in a Flatiron office.

These days, world domination is on the agenda. In 2011, Batali and Bastianich opened Pizzeria Mozza in Singapore, and Bastianich has just returned from a scouting mission to Hong Kong with plans to launch three new restaurants, including the Asian version of Lupa.

“The Chinese just love Italian,” he says distractedly, while multitasking on his BlackBerry Torch from his box-filled office on the 10th floor of an old building in the Flatiron District.

In a green wool Burberry jacket, navy V-neck vest and fitted gray pants imported from Italy, the Bayside, Queens, native looks distinctly European. The form-fitting suit hugs his slim frame — a fashion choice he can comfortably make since dropping some 50 pounds five years ago.

The suit and tie’s not routine, he says: “I have a dinner meeting tonight — if not, I wear jeans.” One thing he always sports is a distinctive black, diamond-encrusted Lucien Pellat-Finet skull bracelet — “given to me by a good friend,” he says mysteriously.

Décor: The office on 20th Street and Park Avenue is strategically located a few blocks from Eataly, the sprawling food and wine market Bastianich and Batali launched in 2010.

The work space hints at industrial — big windows, exposed pipes, dark wood floors, mustard walls. But with boxes of wine and beauty products, (they’re launching a beauty bar in Eataly) spilling out from the junk corner, it’s more thrown together than styled.

There’s a reason for that — Bastianich is not one to linger around the office. He spends most of his time jetting from restaurant to restaurant, and he’s been doing summers in Italy tending to his vineyards and shooting “MasterChef.” But his office houses his design, marketing and finance teams, and various other support players in his kingdom.
